He then moved on to Interventional fellowships, starting from Magrabi Eye Hospital in Saudi Arabia to Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in the USA, one of the best eye hospitals in the world. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hafez has been involved as a Clinical Instructor in several training programs in the best hospitals in the Middle East, including Magrabi Eye Hospital, aiming to teach young ophthalmologists the skills needed to be at the top of their fields. He has been awarded for his exceptional work from 7 different Interventional bodies in Ophthalmology throughout the years, the last one was the American Academy of Ophthalmology Interventional Award for 2015.
