Dr. Ahmed Shaaban Consultant of Thyroid Surgery, Oncology, and Laparoscopic Surgery Assistant Professor, Department of Surgery, Medical Research Institute, Alexandria University Services provided by Dr. Ahmed Shaaban: Thyroid Surgery Oncologic Surgery Laparoscopic Surgery Head and Neck Surgery Dr. Ahmed Shaaban obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2002with Excellent grade and Honors He completed his internship at Alexandria University Hospitals until 2004 He then served as a Surgical Resident at the Medical Research Institute Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, until 2007 He obtained his Master’s degree in General Surgery in 2007 with Excellent grade his Master’s thesis focused on modern laparoscopic techniques for gallbladder removal In 2008, he was appointed as an Assistant Lecturer of Surgery at the Medical Research Institute, Alexandria University. He earned his Doctorate (MD) in Surgery in 2013 with a doctoral thesis on thyroid tumor excision From 2013 he held the position of Lecturer of Surgery at the Medical Research Institute, Alexandria University. Since 2018, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the same institute, a position he continues to hold to date. Dr. Shaaban has published numerous research papers on thyroid and neck tumors in both international and local medical journals
